Tasks
Our Touristic Sales team is responsible for managing, monitoring, and developing key B2B travel agent accounts in the Swiss tourism segment on behalf of SWISS, all the further airlines of the Lufthansa Group, and our joint-venture partners.
In your internship with us, you will become familiar with the many and varied duties and processes of key account management:
- Support our key account managers in their account management and development duties
- Handle inquiries from commercial customers
- Manage ad-hoc assignments, such as presentations and analyses for communication or decision-making purposes
- Coordinate sales activities and events in collaboration with B2B Marketing
- Represent SWISS and the Lufthansa Group at B2B and B2C events
- Research market trends and/or best practices and develop your own summaries and conclusions
- Assume project responsibility for specific topic areas
- Plan, participate in, and document various meetings with internal and external stakeholders within the Joint Venture context

Requirements
- HF diploma, Bachelor's, Master's students or graduates (HF diploma & Bachelor's students must have completed at least three semesters) in business administration or related fields
- A well-structured working approach, conceptual skills, and analytical thinking capacity
- A flair for communication and confidence with customers
- Very good MS Office skills (especially Teams and PowerPoint)
- A very good spoken and written command of German and English, with further languages as an advantage
- A swift grasp of essentials, initiative, and the ability to work in a team
- Industry knowledge would be an additional advantage
