As a Tool & Equipment Engineer, you will be an integral member of the Production Support team. In this role, you will take the lead in equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement, allowing you to cultivate specialized knowledge specific to various processes and equipment. Your contributions will enhance our operational efficiency through technological advancements and the application of classical LEAN tools.

Your Tasks

  • Provide administration and supervision of external partners on-site
  • Creation and maintenance of:
    • Technical Specifications
    • Calibration instructions
    • Process maps
    • Technical templates (Process Parameter Sheets, Machine Setup, etc.)
    • Work instructions
    • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Dossiers
    • TTE (Tool and Test Equipment equivalency documentations according to ARINC 668 standard)
    • GEM (Ground Equipment Manuals)
    • SAP equipment database (ZITOOL)
  • Introduction of new technologies (Automation, Scanning, 3D Printing)
  • Design and modification of non-COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) equipment
  • Project collaboration
  • Implement LEAN by executing 5S, Kanban, and Root Cause Analysis
  • Promote research & development for supported processes
  • Assure cost reduction of supported processes through automation and other efficiency improvements

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, aviation, or a related field
  • Working experience in the aerospace industry or a similar industrial environment
  • MRO and/or Engine knowledge is preferred
  • Experience in CAD component design and drawing, with preferable knowledge of Fusion 360
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, precisely, and responsibly
  • Open-minded and dedicated team player
  • High safety, quality, and cost awareness
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and SAP
  • Fluent in German (Level C1) and English (Level B2)
