Position Overview

We are seeking a **Project Bad Zurzach Tool and Equipment Engineer** to join our Production Support team. In this role, you will lead efforts in equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement. You will develop specialized knowledge in specific processes and associated equipment, contributing to process efficiency improvements through technological advances and classical LEAN tools.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide administration and supervision of external partners on-site.
• Create and maintain:
  • Calibration instructions
  • Process maps
  • Technical templates (Process Parameter Sheets, Machine Setup, etc.)
  • Work instructions
  • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Dossiers
  • TTE (Tool and Test Equipment equivalency documentation according to ARINC 668 standard)
  • GEM (Ground Equipment Manuals)
  • SAP equipment database (ZITOOL)
• Implement LEAN methodologies by executing 5S, Kanban, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Perform simple mechanical and manufacturing tasks.
• Design and modify equipment that is not COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf).
• Promote research & development for supported processes.
• Assure cost reduction of supported processes through automation and other efficiency improvements.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, aviation, or a related field.
• Previous experience in the aerospace industry or a similar industrial environment.
• Knowledge of MRO and/or engine operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD design and component drawing; experience with Fusion 360 is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and SAP.
• Fluent in German (Level C1) and English (Level B2).
