ROLE OVERVIEW
Balyasny Asset Management is seeking an exceptional Equity Analyst to join our portfolio team in Switzerland. This role will concentrate on identifying structural themes, relative-value opportunities, and macro-driven dislocations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investing and trading in publicly listed equities and relevant derivatives within cyclical markets.
- Generating investment ideas by conducting top-down and bottom-up fundamental analysis.
- Supporting financial statement analysis, including cash flows and balance sheets, while maintaining consensus models.
- Communicating effectively with industry contacts and sell-side professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an equity research role covering publicly listed companies.
- A genuine passion for public markets investing across cyclical sectors, with the ability to blend fundamental analysis with macro and thematic insights.
- Advanced understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Location: Zug, Switzerland.
