Role Overview
Balyasny Asset Management is seeking an exceptional Equity Analyst to join our portfolio team in Switzerland. This role will focus on identifying structural themes, relative-value opportunities, and macro-driven dislocations.
Responsibilities
- Investing and trading in publicly listed equities and relevant derivatives within cyclical markets.
- Generating ideas through comprehensive top-down and bottoms-up fundamental analysis.
- Supporting financial statement analysis, cash flow assessments, balance sheet evaluations, and maintaining consensus models.
- Communicating with industry professionals and sell-side contacts.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an equity research role covering publicly listed companies.
- A passion for public markets investing across cyclical sectors, with the ability to combine fundamental analysis with macro and thematic views.
- Advanced understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
