ROLE OVERVIEW
Balyasny Asset Management is seeking an exceptional Equity Analyst to join a portfolio team in Switzerland. This role will concentrate on identifying structural themes, relative-value opportunities, and macro-driven dislocations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investing and trading in publicly listed equities and relevant derivatives within cyclical markets.
- Generating investment ideas through comprehensive top-down and bottom-up fundamental analysis.
- Supporting financial statement analysis, cash flow assessments, balance sheet evaluations, and maintaining consensus models.
- Communicating effectively with industry and sell-side contacts.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an equity research role covering publicly listed companies.
- A passion for public markets investing across cyclical sectors, with a proven ability to merge fundamental analysis with macro and thematic insights.
- An advanced understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
