Our client, an internationally active industrial company based in Winterthur, is seeking a committed and technically skilled individual for the position of Test Stand Mechanic. This is a temporary role with an engagement level ranging from 80% to 100%. Job Description
In this position, you will oversee compressors from assembly to acceptance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up machines at the test stand
- Conducting test runs with customers
- Performing leak tests and fault analyses
You will collaborate closely with both internal and external partners, contributing to quality assurance and the continuous improvement of the testing process through your precision and technical expertise.
We Expect
- Completed vocational training as a polymechanic (assembly), automotive mechanic, truck, agricultural machinery, construction machinery mechanic, or machine fitter
- Experience in the assembly or commissioning of larger machines or compressors is an advantage
- Familiarity with overhead cranes
- Ability to work at heights and maintain good physical condition
- Very good German language skills (minimum C1); English is a plus
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift schedule (06:00–14:30 / 14:15–22:45)
