Your Crew

You'll join our small team of Test Operators within the Test Engineering department based at our Seebach site in Zürich. Here, experienced specialists and emerging talent work side by side to test the next generation of space mechanisms. With a diverse mix of skills, backgrounds, and experience levels, we learn from each other every day and support one another in tackling new technical challenges.

Your Mission

• Carrying out tests in the near-series production of space mechanisms
• Operation of the test systems and execution of tests on assemblies based on given test regulations
• Control and inspection of products (Quality Control)
• Care and maintenance of the systems (especially thermal vacuum chambers) as well as mechatronic repairs
• Independently carry out tests on the mechanisms
• Work under clean room conditions in compliance with relevant regulations
• Ensure compliance with the 5S guidelines in the workplace, laboratories, and workshops
• Create test documentation in English/German
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Actively support planning and project teams
• Contribute to process improvements and troubleshooting

Your Story

• Completed basic technical training, possibly with further technical education
• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar role
• Very good oral and written English and German skills
• Distinct communication flair with a team player mindset
• Solution-oriented and precise technical work
• Team player, independent, quality-conscious, and able to work under pressure

Nice to Have

• Experience in clean room conditions (ISO 8)
• Experience in testing in the field of space and aviation
• Experience in handling vacuum chambers
