Your Crew

You will join our dynamic team of Test Operators within the Test Engineering department at our Seebach site in Zurich, where experienced specialists and emerging talent collaborate to test the next generation of space mechanisms. With a diverse range of skills, backgrounds, and experience levels, we learn from one another daily and support each other in overcoming new technical challenges. Together, we contribute to missions in some of the world's most demanding environments, fueled by collaboration, trust, curiosity, and a shared passion for space technology.

Your Mission

• Carry out tests in the near-series production of space mechanisms.
• Operate test systems and execute tests on assemblies based on established testing protocols.
• Conduct product control and inspections (Quality Control).
• Care for and maintain test systems (especially thermal vacuum chambers) and perform Mechatronic repairs.
• Independently execute tests on mechanisms.
• Work under cleanroom conditions, adhering to relevant regulations.
• Ensure compliance with 5S guidelines in the workplace, laboratories, and workshops.
• Create test documentation in both English and German.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Actively participate in planning and project teams.
• Support process improvements and troubleshoot where necessary.

Your Story

• Completed basic technical training, possibly with further technical specialization.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in oral and written English and German.
• Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Solution-oriented and precise in technical work.
• A collaborative team player who is independent, quality-conscious, and capable of working under pressure.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in cleanroom conditions (ISO 8).
• Experience in testing within the aerospace and aviation sectors.
• Familiarity with vacuum chamber operations.
