The role focuses on building and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks within a complex banking environment.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression test suites using modern automation techniques.
- Assess requirements, specifications, and test cases for testability and automation feasibility.
- Set up and enhance test automation activities in line with existing frameworks, standards, and processes.
- Adapt test environments and automate testing for T24/Transact-based applications and interfaces.
- Configure, maintain, and deploy test automation tools and environments.
- Execute and document automated, manual, and exploratory tests, identifying and reporting defects.
- Manage CI/CD test pipelines, ensuring scheduled execution and effective consolidation and distribution of results.
- Integrate automated testing with JIRA/Xray to ensure traceability and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with developers, requirements engineers, and Test Managers to translate test cases into reliable automated scripts.
- Maintain regression stability by adapting automated tests to application changes.
- Support automation effort estimation for new projects and system upgrades.
- Deliver knowledge-sharing and training sessions to the wider team when required.
Requirements
- 5+ years in BDD & Test Automation.
- Strong expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, & Gherkin.
- Advanced Java development skills.
- Xray & JIRA integration within automated testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD – Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
- Experience with both automated and manual testing.
- Banking experience is essential.
- Exposure to Agile and traditional delivery environments.
- Selenium Grid experience is a plus.
- T24 or Triple A experience would be highly advantageous.
