About the Client

The role focuses on building and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks within a complex banking environment.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression test suites using modern automation techniques.
• Assess requirements, specifications, and test cases for testability and automation feasibility.
• Set up and enhance test automation activities in line with existing frameworks, standards, and processes.
• Adapt test environments and automate testing for T24/Transact-based applications and interfaces.
• Configure, maintain, and deploy test automation tools and environments.
• Execute and document automated, manual, and exploratory tests, identifying and reporting defects.
• Manage CI/CD test pipelines, ensuring scheduled execution and effective consolidation and distribution of results.
• Integrate automated testing with JIRA/Xray to ensure traceability and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with developers, requirements engineers, and Test Managers to translate test cases into reliable automated scripts.
• Maintain regression stability by adapting automated tests to application changes.
• Support automation effort estimation for new projects and system upgrades.
• Deliver knowledge-sharing and training sessions to the wider team when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years in BDD & Test Automation.
• Strong expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, & Gherkin.
• Advanced Java development skills.
• Xray & JIRA integration within automated testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD – Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
• Experience with both automated and manual testing.
• Banking experience is essential.
• Exposure to Agile and traditional delivery environments.
• Selenium Grid experience is a plus.
• T24 or Triple A experience would be highly advantageous.
