We are seeking a dedicated professional to build and execute a robust QA strategy centered around early test automation adoption. By leveraging cutting-edge automation solutions, you will significantly reduce manual efforts and increase test coverage. As a vital part of our team, you will continuously assess and improve automation processes, enhancing test efficiency and effectiveness while driving the "shift-left" adoption in QA. Your innovative approach will include utilizing Generative AI to automatically generate, optimize, and maintain automated scripts based on application flows, UI changes, and natural language input.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced automation frameworks to promote an "Automation First Mindset" using techniques like BDD.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance the efficiency and reliability of release processes.
- Develop methodologies for validating the availability and uptime of systems in the production environment, ensuring robust "shift-right" adoption.
Your Skills
- 15+ years of experience in driving automation adoption while facilitating functional and automation tests across various testing levels.
- Proficient in delivering high-quality automation test solutions with strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and TestNG frameworks.
- Ability to implement innovative solutions to enhance automation capabilities and address emerging challenges effectively.
- Sound knowledge of version control tools like GitLab and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD.
- Familiarity with build management tools like Maven and test data management through databases/Apache POI.
- Proven ability to define and promote test automation best practices, standards, and processes through hybrid automation frameworks.
- Experience in project management encompassing phased deliverables, specifications analysis, resource allocation, project planning, and execution.
- Strong proficiency in Agile processes with a proven record of implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe certifications are a plus).
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to projects, ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance through automation and continuous improvement (SRE certifications are beneficial).
- Strong analytical skills to develop a deep understanding of end-to-end functional requirements and design documents.
- Experience in strategizing test plans, creating estimations, designing test cases, and developing automation scripts (ISTQB Advanced Test certifications are advantageous).
- Ability to liaise with multiple ARTs and business stakeholders to establish test environments and create test data according to complex system requirements.
- Expertise in driving rapid resolution of complex defects and critical incidents through triage, root cause analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
- Capability to deliver sharp, data-driven reports providing insights, highlighting risks, and supporting informed decision-making across stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to manage cross-functional teams and foster a high-performance culture.
- Drive various types of testing including functional, automation, localization, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance tests.
- Expert in defect/incident triaging, analyzing, prioritizing, and coordinating the resolution of software issues to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
- Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance the quality and efficiency of QA efforts.
- Manage project risks efficiently, proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Ensure comprehensive reporting and analytics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders and facilitate informed decision-making.
