Core Responsibilities
- Tableside Performance:
- Delight guests with "culinary acrobatics," including egg tosses, onion volcanoes, and rhythmic utensil clicking.
- Maintain an engaging, friendly, and professional demeanor while performing various tasks simultaneously.
- Keep the grill area clean and organized throughout the performance to ensure a polished experience.
- Culinary Execution:
- Prepare high-quality meat, seafood, and vegetables to meet guests' precise specifications.
- Skillfully use traditional Japanese seasonings and sauces such as miso, soy, and ginger.
- Ensure that all food is served at the same time, regardless of differing cooking times.
- Preparation & Safety:
- Conduct thorough mise en place, including precision slicing of proteins and vegetables before service.
- Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP).
- Maintain and season the teppan grill for optimal heat distribution and non-stick cooking.
