InterAx Biotech is among the leading GPCR drug discovery teams in the industry. We believe that future advances in drug discovery require a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of drug action, as evidenced by the fact that 50% of drug candidates fail due to poor efficacy. To uncover biological mechanisms, it is essential to map and integrate various layers of chemical and biological complexity, from atomic to organism level, and rigorously validate hypotheses using quantitative in silico models. Mechanistic modeling lies at the heart of InterAx, where we leverage computational methods and interdisciplinary knowledge to comprehend drug effects at different levels of organism complexity.
Our in-house expertise spans atomic, molecular, cellular, and organismal levels, encompassing all key stages of drug discovery and early drug development. We utilize unique mathematical models of cell signaling, advanced real-time experimental cellular assays, and possess a deep understanding of GPCR pharmacology—the largest class of drug targets. Our state-of-the-art suite of computational chemistry and machine learning/AI tools is complemented by exceptional medicinal chemistry and drug development expertise.
We are currently expanding the InterAx team in the Zurich area of Switzerland and are seeking a Technician / Associate Scientist to support our assay development and drug screening activities. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work in the lab, is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong interest in optimizing experimental workflows and exploring opportunities for automation.
This position offers a remarkable opportunity to join our interdisciplinary, multinational, and innovative team. You will contribute to InterAx's ambitious journey in developing new technologies, scaling our platform, and creating drugs for high-impact disease areas while being part of a collaborative and inspirational culture. We value respectful communication, knowledge sharing, and supporting each other's growth. If you are a skilled and ambitious scientist seeking to challenge your comfort zone, this role will provide a fantastic opportunity for your growth and development.
