InterAx Biotech is at the forefront of GPCR drug discovery in the industry, dedicated to advancing the understanding of drug action mechanisms. It is well established that 50% of drug candidates fail due to poor efficacy, underscoring the need for a deeper exploration of biological mechanisms. By mapping and integrating multiple layers of chemical and biological complexity—from atomic to organismal levels—we rigorously validate our hypotheses using quantitative in silico models.
Mechanistic modeling lies at the heart of InterAx, where we employ computational methods and interdisciplinary knowledge to comprehend drug effects across various levels of organismal complexity. Our in-house expertise encompasses atomic, molecular, cellular, and organismal domains, as well as all critical stages of drug discovery and early drug development.
We leverage unique mathematical models of cell signaling, leading-edge expertise in real-time experimental cellular assays, and a profound understanding of GPCR pharmacology—the largest class of drug targets. Our state-of-the-art suite of computational chemistry tools, alongside advanced machine learning and AI methodologies, complements our exceptional medicinal chemistry and drug development capabilities.
We are currently expanding the InterAx team in the Zurich area of Switzerland and are seeking a Technician / Associate Scientist to enhance our assay development and drug screening initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about hands-on laboratory work, meticulous, organized, and keen on optimizing experimental workflows while exploring automation opportunities.
This position presents a unique opportunity to join our interdisciplinary, multi-national, and innovative team. Contribute to InterAx's ambitious journey in developing new technologies, scaling our platform, and creating drugs addressing high-impact disease areas—all while being part of a collaborative and inspirational culture. We value respectful communication, knowledge sharing, and mutual support for growth. If you are a skilled and ambitious scientist ready to step outside your comfort zone, this position will foster your professional development.
