InterAx Biotech is recognized as one of the leading teams in GPCR drug discovery within the industry. We firmly believe that future advancements in drug discovery will hinge on a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of drug action. Given that 50% of drug candidates fail due to poor efficacy, this perspective is crucial.
To comprehend biological mechanisms, one must map and integrate multiple layers of chemical and biological complexity, from the atomic level to the organism level, while rigorously validating hypotheses using quantitative in silico models. This mechanistic modeling is at the core of InterAx; we leverage computational methods and interdisciplinary expertise to understand drug effects across various levels of organism complexity.
Our in-house proficiency spans atomic, molecular, cellular, and organism stages, encompassing all vital phases of drug discovery and early drug development. We utilize unique mathematical models of cell signaling, possess extensive expertise in real-time experimental cellular assays, and hold a profound understanding of GPCR pharmacology—the largest class of drug targets. Additionally, we employ a state-of-the-art suite of computational chemistry, as well as machine learning and AI tools, complemented by outstanding medicinal chemistry and drug development expertise.
We are currently expanding our team in the Zurich area of Switzerland and are seeking a Technician / Associate Scientist to support our assay development and drug screening activities. The ideal candidate will enjoy hands-on work in the laboratory, exhibit attention to detail, remain organized, and possess a strong desire to optimize experimental workflows while exploring automation opportunities.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to join our interdisciplinary, multinational, and innovative team. Contribute to InterAx's ambitious journey in developing novel technologies, scaling our platform, and creating drugs for high-impact disease areas, all within a collaborative and inspiring culture. We prioritize respectful communication, knowledge sharing, and mutual growth support. If you are a skilled and ambitious scientist looking to step outside your comfort zone, this role offers a tremendous opportunity for personal and professional development.
