How You Can Make a Difference
- Demonstrate expert knowledge in Technical Writing.
- Create and maintain end-user documentation such as Operator Manuals, Instructions for Use, Quick Guides, User Guides, and Application Notes by collaborating with project teams and using available source documents.
- Support various documentation projects while managing schedules effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Regulatory groups to ensure documentation meets all standards and requirements.
- Perform basic graphics editing to support artwork in documentation.
- Provide documentation services, including editing and English reviews for other projects as needed.
What You Bring
- Experience in developing documentation for end-users, with the ability to quickly grasp complex procedures and concepts, as well as understand functional engineering specifications related to software features and user interfaces.
- Effective collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, integrating seamlessly with existing work processes and documentation styles.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to manage tight schedules and adapt to changes in projects.
- Good project management skills, capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage project issues directly with team members, and handle feedback constructively.
- Proficiency in tools such as FrameMaker, InDesign, Acrobat, and XML-based content management systems (we use Quanos ST4 CMS), along with strong overall computer skills.
- Native-level English proficiency is required, with a preference for US English; the ability or willingness to learn German is a plus.
- A background in sciences or high tech is preferred.
- Graphic visualization skills are beneficial, as our team collaborates closely with graphic illustrators.
