Salary: €4,000–€4,300 gross per month + bonus + company car

Job Overview

Do you have a passion for industrial machinery and a knack for explaining complex concepts to others? We are seeking a dedicated Technical Trainer to join our team at an international industrial technology company. This role is perfect for field service engineers, maintenance technicians, or technical specialists who are eager to share their expertise and further develop their careers in training.

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Trainer, you will deliver a variety of training formats, including classroom sessions, machine demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and digital learning experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Training customers, service technicians, partners, and internal teams
• Demonstrating equipment setup, operation, and usage
• Leading practical exercises directly on machinery
• Explaining mechanical, electrical, and machine-related concepts
• Assisting participants in understanding common technical issues and troubleshooting procedures
• Creating and updating training materials, presentations, and assessments
• Adapting training approaches to accommodate varying levels of technical experience
• Collaborating with engineering, service, and product teams to ensure training content remains current
• Assessing participants’ progress and maintaining training records

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with electromechanical machinery or equipment, accrued through roles such as installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, or technical support. We welcome applicants currently working as:

• Field Service Engineer
• Service Technician
• Maintenance Technician
• Commissioning Engineer
• Technical Support Engineer
• Applications Engineer
• Technical Trainer

In addition, you should bring:

• A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Confidence in working directly with machinery and demonstrating it to others
• The ability to convey technical information clearly and patiently
• Strong communication skills and a desire to enhance your training and presentation capabilities
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch or French is a plus
• A willingness to travel internationally when necessary
