Job Opportunity: Technical Support Specialist (x|f|m)

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist (x|f|m) to join our Virtual Sales BioA Reagents & Consumables team. In this pivotal role, you will provide technical support and sales expertise across Europe and E-EMEA. Your responsibilities will include addressing technical support inquiries related to Polyplus reagents, Cytokines, BI-Media, and cell-based assays, supporting the Reagents & Consumables (R&C) sales team, and managing a sales territory in E-EMEA to foster customer relationships and achieve sales targets.

The team comprises five dedicated professionals, and we are excited about the possibilities of shaping the future together. This full-time position offers the flexibility of mobile working when based in Germany (Sartorius Lab Instruments GmbH & Co. KG), while in the UK, France, or Italy, it is a home-based opportunity. The role requires regular travel of approximately 15-20% to our facility in Strasbourg, France.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage technical support requests for Polyplus reagents, Cytokines, BI-Media, and cell-based assays across Europe.
  • Assist the R&C sales team with technical support during sales activities.
  • Collaborate with product management to resolve complex product inquiries.
  • Analyze customer needs, generate leads, and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) to document support cases, leads, and sales activities.
  • Promote newly launched LSR products and ensure their successful implementation.
  • Manage the E-EMEA sales territory, achieving sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with growth strategies.

What Will Convince Us

  • You hold a degree in Life Sciences and have experience in cell culture and transient transfection or equivalent.
  • You possess relevant professional experience in sales of life science reagents and consumables or technical support.
  • Experience with DNA/siRNA transfection, cell matrices & coatings, and application of cytokines is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Sartorius Life Science R&C portfolio is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and German or French are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and Microsoft Office is essential.
  • You are a proactive, self-motivated individual with strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • You are willing to travel up to 15-20%.
