Technical Specialist Customer Service (male/female/non-binary)

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be the primary contact for customers in the Business Unit Combustion Engines, as well as internal departments, regarding technical issues related to diagnostic tools and their licensing.
  • You will support service personnel on-site (2nd level support) by diagnosing faults and isolating errors through remote diagnosis utilizing known Business Unit Combustion Engines diagnostic tools.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating troubleshooting actions at assigned customers (OEMs).
  • You will participate in the development of the troubleshoot advisor.
  • You will define, document, and monitor all technical damage focal points.
  • You will configure and prepare technical issues for handover to specialist departments.
  • You will assist the OEM in creating DPF codes and quick upload activations.
  • You will coordinate, administer, and maintain the license and DPF database across various departments within the Liebherr Group.
  • You will act as the Key User for the Customer Service SharePoint.
  • You will support the creation and documentation of service-relevant technical customer notifications, service information, product notifications, and more.
  • You will provide support for the customer service hotline.
  • You will assist with technical service training in the diagnostic tool area (on-the-job training).

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed vocational training as an agricultural machinery, truck, or construction machinery mechanic.
  • You have experience as a technician or engineer in mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, or industrial engineering, or possess a similar qualification.
  • Additional training as a diagnostician or mechatronics technician is advantageous.
  • You have strong knowledge of diesel and/or gas engines, as well as software, electronics, or exhaust gas aftertreatment systems.
  • You possess experience in the service assignment field.
  • You are proficient in German, and good knowledge of English is a plus.
  • You have excellent skills in MS Office, MS SharePoint, and tools such as Diagnostic Tool / Lidia, Sculi.
  • You have extensive knowledge of database administration across various systems.
