The ETH Zurich core facility NEXUS Personalized Health fosters groundbreaking biomedical discovery and translational research aimed at personalized health. Our multidisciplinary team offers a diverse range of expertise, from software engineering and biomedical data management to statistical and bioinformatics services. Within this innovative environment, the Screening & Lab Automation group specializes in cutting-edge screening technologies, assay development, complex cell systems, and lab automation. Our projects span various areas, including biochemical screens, combinatorial chemical synthesis, and sophisticated screening assays utilizing patient-derived organoids.
We are currently seeking a highly collaborative and service-oriented scientist or technician to join our team temporarily as a Technical Scientist. In this role, you will provide exceptional laboratory automation and high-throughput screening (HTS) services to researchers across various disciplines. As a member of the Screening & Lab Automation team, you will support screening projects while also contributing to general lab management and system maintenance. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about science, technology, and lab automation, possessing strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
This is a temporary position ending in June 2026 and includes hands-on training in laboratory automation.
