Technical Sales Representative

The Technical Sales Representative will play a pivotal role alongside the regional sales representative in pre-sales activities, guiding customers toward NES solutions and effectively addressing regional RFPs. This position involves managing multiple primary and secondary regional accounts, responding to technical inquiries, handling feature requests, and fulfilling the technical requirements of purchase orders.

Training Management

The individual will be tasked with developing and presenting engaging training courses for NES partners and direct customers, ensuring they are proficient in using the NES AMI system and products.

  • Lead technical workshops, demonstrations, training sessions, and provide support for both internal and external customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and R&D teams to enhance NES products in line with customer demands.
  • Establish strong customer relationships and influence them towards NES solutions through consultative engagement and a comprehensive understanding of their requirements.
  • Contribute to partner and account strategy alongside sales representatives.
  • Provide technical analysis, review, and create responses for RFPs/RFQs.
  • Manage the technical configuration of customer orders and coordinate with Operations.

Training Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training courses for NES standard products.
  • Handle all logistics (venue, accommodation, catering, training aids) required for the delivery of training courses to customers and internally to NES teams.
  • Create training proposals for the sales team and for inclusion in bids, as needed.
  • Collect feedback from training courses and implement improvements based on this feedback.
  • Share relevant product feedback gathered during training with the appropriate audience within NES.
  • Expand training courses in accordance with the planned release of new products.
  • Provide quarterly onboarding sessions for new employees, focusing on basic technical training on current NES standard products.
