Position Overview

This position reports to the Sales Support Manager and involves key responsibilities in delivering complete electrification solutions for Mining projects worldwide. From high voltage systems to local controls and plant automation, our projects encompass everything from small motors to large speed-controlled mill drives up to 28 MW—all interconnected, installed, and commissioned, ready for operation.

Role Responsibilities

The technical sales team plays an integral role in leading technical proposals and developing optimized solutions. Your customer proposal will serve as a foundation and motivation to enhance electrical systems, allowing you to assess the effects and consequences of your proposed solutions.

  • Functionally lead and guide a technical team across different disciplines and multiple country organizations.
  • Prepare commercially and technically optimized offers for electrical plant systems or Gearless Mill Drive solutions in close collaboration with the front sales manager.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal teams and customers on complex system solutions.
  • Prepare overall offer documents and costing, ensuring all product offers align with the project’s strategy.
  • Lead an offer team or contribute as a team member, providing technical support for meetings, negotiations, and related activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in power engineering.
  • At least ten years of experience related to electrification in systems business (power plants, mining, cement, or similar).
  • Practical experience in commissioning is welcome.
  • Well-developed analytical abilities with a knack for quickly grasping complex technical issues.
  • Willingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide, with a travel commitment of up to 15%.
  • Demonstrated skills in sales or consulting are advantageous.
  • Fluent command of English.
