Position Overview

This position reports to the Sales Support Manager. Our organization is responsible for delivering comprehensive electrification solutions for mining projects worldwide. From high voltage to signal voltage, local control to plant automation systems, and from small motors to large speed-controlled mill drives of up to 28 MW, we ensure everything is interconnected, installed, and commissioned for optimal operation.

The technical sales team plays a crucial role in leading technical proposals and developing optimized solutions. A customer proposal serves as your foundation and motivation to enhance the electrical system, allowing you to assess the effects and implications of your innovative solutions.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Functionally lead and guide a technical team comprising diverse disciplines and multiple country organizations.
  • Prepare commercially and technically optimized offers for electrical plant system solutions or Gearless Mill Drive solutions in close collaboration with the front sales manager.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers regarding complex system solutions.
  • Develop overall offer documents and costing, ensuring that all product proposals align with the project's strategic goals while either leading an offer team or contributing as a team member, providing technical support during meetings and negotiations.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, focusing on power engineering.
  • At least ten years of experience related to electrification in systems business (power plants, mining, cement, or similar).
  • Practical experience in commissioning is a plus.
  • Well-developed analytical abilities and the capacity to quickly and effectively grasp complex technical issues.
  • Willingness to engage directly with clients and teams globally—travel commitment up to 15%.
  • Demonstrated skills in sales/consulting are an advantage.
  • Fluent command of English.
