Position Overview

This position reports to the Sales Support Manager.

Our organization is responsible for delivering comprehensive electrification solutions for mining projects worldwide. We cover everything from high voltage to signal voltage and from local control to plant automation systems, including small motors and large speed-controlled mill drives up to 28 MW, all interconnected and ready for operation.

The technical sales team plays a vital role in leading technical proposals and developing optimized technical solutions. Your customer proposals will serve as both a foundation and motivation to optimize the electrical system, as you assess the effects and consequences of your newly proposed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Functionally lead and guide a technical team comprised of various disciplines and multiple country organizations.
  • Prepare commercially and technically optimized offers for electrical plant system solutions or Gearless Mill Drive solutions in close collaboration with the front sales manager.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex system solutions.
  • Prepare overall offer documents and costing, ensuring alignment with the project's offer strategy. Lead an offer team or contribute as a team member by providing technical support for meetings, negotiations, and related activities.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in power engineering.
  • Minimum of ten years' experience related to electrification in systems businesses (power plants, mining, cement, or similar).
  • Practical experience in commissioning is welcome.
  • Highly developed analytical abilities with a quick grasp of complex technical issues.
  • Willingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide—with a travel commitment of up to 15%.
  • Demonstrated skills in sales or consulting are advantageous.
  • Fluent command of English.
