Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Inspector at SWISS, you will oversee and ensure the successful execution of contracted maintenance events at Base Maintenance checks worldwide. Your responsibilities will include:
Serving as a technical inspector during contracted maintenance events at designated Base Maintenance checks worldwide.
Ensuring maintenance events are conducted to SWISS's quality standards, returning aircraft within the agreed ground time.
Monitoring the full status of the aircraft before and throughout the maintenance period.
Coordinating with MROs to inspect both the external and internal appearance of the aircraft upon arrival and during the maintenance process.
Evaluating maintenance events against the agreed work package and man-hour allocation.
Assessing MRO performance using KPIs, the Continuous Improvement List, and the project Scorecard.
Participating in project meetings and adhering to approved processes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in aircraft maintenance or CAMO operations, along with a B1/B2 license or a strong technical background. Key qualifications include:
Extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and/or CAMO operations.
B1/B2 Licensed Engineer or strong technical aviation background preferred.
Type ratings for aircraft operated by SWISS are advantageous.
Ability to perform under pressure with strong decision-making skills.
Willingness to work extended periods away from the home base.
Strong analytical mindset and process orientation.
Team player with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Loyal, reliable, and responsible.
Knowledge of AMOS is a plus.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German is an advantage.
Contract Details
This position is limited to a 2-year project at our global MRO stations.
