Your Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth operation of AQC and execute assigned projects effectively
- Ensure the chemical conformity of materials used in commercial productions and projects as directed by the Board
- Act as the Traceability Process Owner
- Support internal and external audits and certifications
Mission 1: Organizational Operations
- Participate in the development of strategy and organization in collaboration with statutory bodies
- Establish and manage the budget according to established processes
- Report to the Board on entrusted projects
- Engage in and prepare meetings with team members, technical working groups, and the Board
- Manage relationships and contracts with external service providers
- Develop external relations, representing the association and its members
- Keep AQC members and stakeholders informed about current and proposed regulatory requirements and their impacts
Mission 2: Chemical Compliance
- Define testing policies and control plans for all components and finished products
- Oversee proper sampling, laboratory communication, report review, and database summaries
- Manage non-conformities, including investigations and action plans
- Provide technical and regulatory monitoring along with recommendations to prepare for future regulations
- Analyze brand requests submitted by members
Mission 3: Traceability
- Define objectives for the RoadMap
- Manage the Supply Chain Mapping system and annual deliverables
- Ensure regulatory and technological monitoring
- Lead technical committees
- Participate in traceability projects
Mission 4: Credibility
- Serve as the Physical Test Harmonization and Standardization Process Owner
- Define RoadMap objectives and lead method harmonization with AQC members, Watch Brands, and Standardization Committees
- Provide technical support to members and manage the production of synthetic sweats, chrome VI quick test kits, and other reagents
- Assist in defining certification requirements based on current and future regulatory contexts
- Update rules for evaluating leather suppliers and conduct annual assessments
- Organize and execute laboratory visits
