Your Role
We invite you to strengthen our team in Baden, Switzerland, by bringing your expertise and experience to the role of Technical Project Manager SERVICE. As a core member of the service team, you will be a key source of technical insights, responsible for defining maintenance activities essential for maintaining the competitiveness and reliability of power plants throughout the duration of service contracts.
With your extensive knowledge of rotating equipment in combined cycle power plants, you will play a vital role in resolving technical issues and supporting tendering activities for service products.
Your Responsibilities
- Define the overall scope of maintenance activities for gas turbines, generators, steam turbines, and auxiliary systems across all types of inspections, overhauls, and upgrade projects, in coordination with dedicated service teams.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers.
- Engage and coordinate specialists and engineering resources based on project needs.
- Contribute actively to resolving all fleet and site-specific technical issues.
- Provide technical support during inspection execution.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all delivered technical documentation.
- Enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance planning and technical support processes.
- Support the improvement of the Service Engineering and Product Management team processes.
- Contribute to achieving EHS targets.
Your Profile
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent education.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, erection, commissioning, or service of combined cycle power plants.
- In-depth knowledge of gas turbine main components and operational principles, preferably GT26 and GT36.
- Experience in field service of power stations is desirable.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of power stations is advantageous.
- Proven project management skills: focus, structure, organization, discipline, planning, collaboration, coordination, prioritization, adherence to deadlines, and effective negotiation abilities.
- Analytical, result-driven, and proactive approach to work.
- A communicative team player with intercultural competence.
- Ability to work under stress and willingness to travel up to 10% globally.
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in Italian, German, or French is a plus.
