About Us

Daedalean is a Zürich-based startup founded by experienced engineers committed to revolutionizing air travel within the next decade. We integrate computer vision, deep learning, and robotics to develop full “level-5” autonomy for flying vehicles.

Your Role

As a project leader, you will oversee the planning and execution of our most complex cross-team projects. Collaborate with technical leads and the product team to transform new initiatives into robust project plans. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the execution of project plans through continuous progress tracking.
  • Managing dependencies and resolving roadblocks.
  • Establishing a trustworthy rapport with all stakeholders while ensuring accountability for committed deliverables.
  • Reviewing requirements and implementing simple technical solutions when necessary.
  • Contributing your expertise to enhance the TPM practice and tools at Daedalean.

We are seeking individuals who are dedicated to getting things done and sticking to project commitments.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful and timely project delivery under financial and technical commitments amidst ambiguity.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional projects with tight deadlines, including collaboration with external parties such as contractors and suppliers.
  • Delivery and certification experience from the aviation industry (PDR, CDR, SOI#1/2/3/4, etc.).
  • BSc in a technical discipline.
  • Solid understanding of common project management methodologies.
  • Fine-tuned interpersonal skills to synthesize strong opinions into a shared goal.
  • Data-driven mindset combined with a hands-on attitude.
