We are seeking your expertise and experience for the role of
Technical Project Manager SERVICE (m/f)
As a core member of the service team, you will be the primary source of technical inputs. Your main responsibility will be to define the maintenance activities required to keep the power plant competitive and reliable throughout the service contracts. With your broad knowledge of rotating equipment in combined cycle power plants, you will also contribute to resolving technical issues and support tendering activities for service products.
Your Tasks:
- Define the overall scope of maintenance activities for gas turbines, generators, steam turbines, and respective auxiliary systems for all types of inspections, overhauls, and upgrade projects in collaboration with dedicated service teams.
- Serve as the single technical point of contact for customers.
- Involve and coordinate specialists and engineering resources as needed.
- Actively contribute to resolving various fleet and site-specific technical issues.
- Provide technical support during inspection execution.
- Ensure the completeness and correctness of the delivered technical documentation.
- Contribute to enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance planning and technical support processes.
- Support the improvement of the Service Engineering and Product management team and processes.
- Contribute to achieving Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) targets.
Your Profile:
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent education.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, erection, commissioning, or service of Combined Cycle power plants.
- Knowledge of gas turbine main components and operational principles, preferably GT26 and GT36.
- Field service experience in power stations is desirable.
- Experience in operation and maintenance of power stations is a plus.
- Proven project management skills: focus, structure, organization, discipline, planning, collaboration, coordination, prioritization, and adherence to deadlines and commitments.
- Analytical, results-driven, and proactive approach to work.
- Effective communicator and a team player with intercultural competence.
- Ability to handle stress and work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% globally.
- Excellent command of English; additional knowledge of Italian, German, or French is an asset.
