About Us
Daedalean is a Zürich-based startup founded by experienced engineers with a vision to revolutionize air travel within the next decade. We combine computer vision, deep learning, and robotics to develop full “level-5” autonomy for flying vehicles.
Your Role
As the leader of our most complex cross-team projects, you will plan and execute initiatives that require collaboration across various teams. You will work closely with technical leads and the product team, translating new ideas into robust project plans. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving the execution of project plans through continuous tracking of progress.
- Managing dependencies and resolving potential roadblocks.
- Establishing a trustworthy rapport with stakeholders while holding them accountable for their commitments.
- Reviewing requirements and implementing simple technical solutions when necessary.
- Contributing your experience to enhance our Technical Project Management (TPM) practices and tools.
Requirements
- A proven track record of successful and timely project delivery, including managing financial and technical commitments under ambiguity.
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects under tight deadlines, including coordination with external parties such as contractors and suppliers.
- Delivery and certification experience from the aviation industry (PDR, CDR, SOI#1/2/3/4, etc.).
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- A solid understanding of common project management methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills capable of synthesizing diverse opinions into shared goals.
- A data-driven mindset combined with a proactive, hands-on attitude.
