Technical Program Manager, XR Tech Responsibilities
- Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas, managing multiple cross-organizational or cross-company interdependencies.
- Drive cross-organizational and portfolio partners to own and execute several large-scale workstreams to achieve set goals.
- Understand technology requirements, roadmap, dependencies, and evolution, developing plans to mitigate risks while delivering features that meet requirements across multiple products.
- Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and thought leadership across multiple organizations, influencing strategic direction that impacts long-term plans.
- Establish expertise in the technology area, becoming the go-to escalation point for execution and managing integration across your program area.
- Resolve intra-organizational issues and escalate or drive solutions to cross-organizational challenges.
- Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables, including architectural diagrams, specifications, launch criteria, and test plans.
- Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and processes in a dynamic environment, driving impact through the deployment of key initiatives and promoting the adoption of those processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience leading technology investments across multiple products or product families from innovation to delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to execute across highly ambiguous, complex products and programs, making technical and product trade-offs that balance business needs with technical constraints.
- Experience in leading execution across multiple teams in different time zones, anticipating roadblocks and creating a path forward.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large-scale systems.
- Effective communicator capable of translating high-level goals into actionable plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
