Our team is expanding, and we are seeking experienced Technical Program Managers (TPMs) to take charge of defining and driving complex, cross-functional features. If you have a proven track record in developing and delivering high-quality products, we want to hear from you!
This role provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate with world-class development teams and leaders throughout the organization. You will help bring trustworthy experiences to Meta products, with openings available across various teams working on advanced technologies, including Operating Systems, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Speech Processing.
Responsibilities
- Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas, managing multiple cross-organizational or cross-company interdependencies.
- Drive cross-organizational and portfolio partnerships to own and execute several large-scale workstreams to achieve goals.
- Understand technology requirements, roadmaps, dependencies, and evolution while developing plans to mitigate risks and deliver features that meet varying product requirements.
- Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and thought leadership across multiple organizations, influencing strategic direction impacting long-term plans.
- Establish expertise in your technology area, serving as the go-to point for execution, driving visibility across the program, and managing integration within your program scope.
- Resolve intra-organizational issues while escalating and driving solutions for cross-organizational challenges.
- Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables, including architectural diagrams, specifications, launch criteria, and test plans.
- Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and processes in a dynamic environment, driving impact through key initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management.
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience leading technology investments across multiple products or families from innovation to delivery.
- Experience in leading execution across highly ambiguous and complex products and programs, balancing business needs and technical constraints.
- Ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams and demonstrate critical thinking and thought leadership.
- Experience in guiding complex execution across various teams in different time zones, proactively anticipating roadblocks and facilitating solutions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on large-scale systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating high-level goals into actionable plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
