As our team expands, we are on the lookout for experienced Technical Program Managers (TPM) who will be instrumental in defining and driving complex, cross-functional features. Technical Program Manager, XR Tech Responsibilities
- Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas, managing multiple cross-organization or cross-company interdependencies.
- Drive cross-org and portfolio partners to own and execute several large-scale workstreams to meet objectives.
- Understand technology requirements, roadmap, dependencies, and evolution, developing a plan for mitigating risks and delivering features that meet the requirements across multiple products.
- Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and thought leadership across multiple organizations, influencing strategic directions that impact long-term plans.
- Establish expertise in technology areas, becoming the go-to escalation point for execution and leading visibility across the program, orchestrating integration efforts.
- Resolve intra-organization issues and escalate or drive solutions to cross-organization challenges.
- Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables, including architectural diagrams, specifications, launch criteria, and test plans.
- Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and development processes in a dynamic environment, driving impact through the deployment of key initiatives and promoting adoption of those processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management.
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading technology investments across multiple products or product families from innovation to delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in leading execution across complex, ambiguous products and programs, balancing business needs and technical constraints.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrating critical thinking and thought leadership.
- Experience managing complex execution across teams in different time zones, anticipating roadblocks, and creating paths forward.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large-scale systems.
- Effective communicator who can translate high-level goals into actionable plans and vice versa, with expertise in communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
