We are currently seeking experienced Technical Program Managers (TPM) to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will influence and implement highly complex, cross-functional features, working alongside world-class development teams and leaders across our organization. This opportunity spans multiple teams and technologies, including OS, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Speech Processing, all aimed at creating unrivaled experiences for billions.
Technical Program Manager, XR Tech Responsibilities
- Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas, managing multiple cross-organizational or cross-company interdependencies.
- Drive cross-organizational partners to take ownership and execute several large-scale workstreams to achieve goals.
- Understand technology requirements, roadmaps, dependencies, and evolution, developing plans to mitigate risks and deliver features that meet requirements across multiple products.
- Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and thought leadership across multiple organizations, influencing strategic directions that impact long-term plans.
- Establish expertise in your technology area, becoming the go-to escalation point for execution and driving visibility across your program.
- Resolve intra-organizational issues and escalate or drive solutions for cross-organizational challenges.
- Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables including architectural diagrams, specifications, launch criteria, and test plans.
- Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and processes in a rapidly changing environment, driving impact through key initiatives and fostering adoption of these processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management.
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience leading technology investments across multiple products or product families, from innovation to delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead execution across complex projects, with a track record of balancing business needs and technical constraints.
- Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, showcasing critical thinking and leadership.
- Expertise in leading complex execution across distributed teams, anticipating roadblocks, and strategizing solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large-scale systems.
- Effective communicator who can translate high-level goals into actionable plans and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
