Job Overview
This role combines applied chemistry knowledge with quantitative data analysis to evaluate fertilizer products and raw materials. It focuses on verifying product and quality specifications and generating the technical and market intelligence that underpins commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and analytical support to the company’s fertilizer sourcing, product development, and trading activities.
- Conduct data analysis and market support.
- Perform technical product and specification analysis.
- Support sourcing, supplier management, counterparties, and product stewardship.
- Assist the Chief Commercial Officer with technical and analytical tasks.
Requirements
- Integrated master’s degree in chemistry (M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent) with a first-class/distinction classification and an outstanding academic record.
- Strong background in chemical sciences and the ability to understand and evaluate complex technical information.
- Genuine interest in agriculture, crop nutrition, and commodity markets.
- Practical data analysis and programming abilities, particularly in Python.
- Excellent scientific and technical writing skills.
- Capability to interpret product specifications, laboratory reports, and analytical data independently.
- Understanding of safe chemical handling, storage, and disposal.
- Language proficiency: English, Russian, and German.
