Technical Key Account Manager (f/m/d)

Food & Beverage

We are seeking an agile and innovative individual with a passion for technology, customer success, and sustainable business growth. In this role, you will lead technical project management activities, build long-term customer relationships, provide strategic support, and drive initiatives that enhance sales while ensuring successful project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical consulting in the customer's product (pre-)development process
  • Acquisition of new orders via technical contacts with the customer
  • Support with inquiries and clarification of technical specifications with the customer
  • Independent implementation of projects and coordination of internal & external resources (suppliers) to ensure project success
  • Clarification of technical customer requirements
  • Channelling essential technical information / innovations from the market into the organization
  • Leading weekly interdisciplinary coordination meetings with production planning
  • Primary point of contact for customers regarding project planning and execution
  • Supporting the Head of Sales in commercial discussions with the customer
  • Regular customer reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with the agreements in the contract
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities/services to improve profitability
  • Future-oriented coordination of customer needs and requirements

What We're Looking For

  • A solid foundation through formal training with proven expertise in project management and a profound technical understanding
  • Strong communication skills and a sensitive approach in dealing with customers and strategic partners
  • Experience in sensitive commercial negotiations
  • Experience in manufacturing processes in the food and beverage sector
  • An agile, innovative, analytical mindset and a systematic work method to develop customized solutions
  • Assertiveness, a strong team spirit, and exceptional service orientation
  • Fluent in English and German (both minimum C2); French is an advantage
