Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical illustrations for product documentation. You will be part of a small, motivated documentation team affiliated with the technical service.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and manage illustrations and animations for technical product documentation across all Accelleron products.
  • Take complete ownership of Spare Parts Catalog, Customer Data Packages, Outline Drawings, etc.
  • Develop and maintain assembly instructions for various product groups.
  • Conduct drawing work according to specified processes and targets.
  • Stay aligned with the respective plans and deadlines of the product groups.
  • Further develop illustrations and animations based on the requirements of both customers and editors.
  • Provide advice and support in your area of expertise for internal customers and editors.
  • Ensure professional data storage and traceability of change statuses.
  • Conduct independent research for data and information necessary to process orders.
  • Lead or collaborate in documentation projects, working closely with Product Development, Design, and Service Departments.

Your Background

  • Mechanical background and/or higher education in Technical School or a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in Technical Documentation.
  • Proven ability to create high-quality illustrations and animations.
  • Familiarity with global standards on graphic, safety information, signs & symbols is an added advantage.
  • Technical know-how on the graphic creation process for product documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Catia Composer and Adobe Illustrator; experience with other graphic tools is a plus.
  • Independent, precise, and punctual work ethic.
  • Knowledge of Component Content Management Systems (CCMS), such as Schema ST4, is advantageous.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus.
