Your Role
As part of a small, motivated documentation team associated with the technical service, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical illustrations for our product documentation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and manage illustrations and animations for technical product documentation across all Accelleron products.
- Take full ownership of Spare Parts Catalogs, Customer Data Packages, Outline Drawings, etc.
- Develop and maintain assembly instructions for various product groups.
- Conduct drawing work according to specified processes and objectives.
- Align with plans and deadlines of the relevant product groups.
- Advance illustrations and animations based on customer and editorial requirements.
- Provide advice and support in the outlined work area for internal customers and editors.
- Ensure professional data storage and maintain traceability of change statuses.
- Conduct independent research for all necessary data and information required for order processing.
- Lead or collaborate in documentation projects, working closely with Product Development, Design, and Service Departments.
Your Background:
- A mechanical background and/or higher education in a technical school or a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in technical documentation.
- Expertise in creating high-quality illustrations and animations.
- Familiarity with global standards for graphics, safety information, signs, and symbols is advantageous.
- Technical know-how related to the graphic creation process for product documentation.
- Proficiency in Catia Composer and Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of other graphic tools is a plus.
- A self-directed, precise, and punctual work ethic.
- Experience with Component Content Management Systems (CCMS); Schema ST4 knowledge is a plus.
- Proficient in written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus.
