Job Opportunity: Technical Consultant for Cardiovascular Therapy Group
Medtronic is seeking a skilled Technical Consultant to join our Cardiovascular Therapy Group. In this role, you will collaborate with interventional cardiologists, cardiac electrophysiologists, referral cardiologists, and other stakeholders to enhance treatment options for heart rhythm disorders. You will be dedicated to a diverse portfolio of products targeting both bradycardia and tachycardia arrhythmia therapies.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the implantation of cardiac devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders in hospitals. Additionally, you may provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance in clinics and private practices. This position will primarily cover the Italian-speaking regions of Switzerland and occasionally the central part of the country, functioning as a remote role. Your home location will serve as your main work environment; however, you may be required to attend Medtronic meetings on occasion.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high technical knowledge combined with a diplomatic approach.
- Provide training for stakeholders on optimal product usage to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Organize educational and proctoring programs.
- Promote the value of our products from both technical and commercial perspectives.
- Conduct training sessions for healthcare professionals and act as an expert in telemedicine.
- Offer on-site support, consulting, and education to healthcare providers during sales presentations, product demonstrations, and maintenance of our products.
- Participate in conferences and congresses.
- Prepare reports on activities and issues as required by management.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital environment.
- A strong passion for the technical aspects of Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both Italian and English.
- Strong flexibility and effective planning abilities.
- Familiarity with standard Information and Communication Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce).
