Join Our Team as a Technical Consultant
Medtronic is seeking a Technical Consultant for our Cardiovascular Therapy Group. In this role, you will collaborate with interventional cardiologists, cardiac electrophysiologists, referral cardiologists, and other stakeholders to optimize treatments for heart rhythm disorders. You will be dedicated to a diverse portfolio of products for both bradycardia and tachycardia arrhythmia therapies.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the implantation of cardiac devices (such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders) in hospitals, as well as providing technical support and troubleshooting in clinics and private practices. This position will cover the French part of Switzerland and is primarily remote. Your home or remote location will serve as your main workplace, although there may be occasional requirements to attend Medtronic locations for meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Add value through high technical expertise combined with a diplomatic approach.
- Provide training to all stakeholders on utilizing our products to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Organize educational and proctoring programs.
- Promote the value of our products from both technical and commercial perspectives.
- Deliver training sessions to healthcare professionals and act as an expert in telemedicine.
- Offer on-site support, consulting, and education to healthcare professionals, including during sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products.
- Participate in conferences and congresses.
- Provide activity reports and address issues as required by management.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital environment.
- Passion for the technical aspects of Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Strong flexibility and solid planning abilities.
- Familiarity with standard Information and Communication Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce).
