At AWS Enterprise Support, we are seeking an exceptional Technical Account Manager (TAM) to empower our customers' innovative and transformative spirit across a wide range of technologies, including Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data/Analytics, Application-level services, Networking, serverless solutions, and more. As a TAM, you will serve as a trusted advisor, directly influencing how customers maximize the value of AWS services and the cloud technologies that support their business objectives.

As we rapidly expand AWS's Enterprise Support organization, averaging 30% - 40% revenue growth each year, you will find ample opportunities to enhance your technical, consulting, operational, and leadership skills. You will collaborate with talented cloud technologists while deepening your knowledge of AWS products. Additionally, you will receive mentorship and pursue AWS certifications to make a global and regional impact.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and drivers.
  • Review service disruptions and provide monthly/quarterly metrics while assisting with pre-launch planning.
  • Utilize technical expertise to resolve complex support cases and overcome technical challenges.
  • Understand operational parameters and the troubleshooting processes for customer issues and escalations.
  • Advocate for customer needs to address adoption barriers and drive new feature development.
  • Enhance customer capabilities through workshops, operations, and architecture reviews.
  • Ensure AWS environments maintain operational health, reduce costs, and recommend efficiency improvements to mitigate risks in customer operations plans and product adoption.
  • Engage with customers across all levels, from developers to C-Suite executives.
  • Collaborate with various functions within AWS, including Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for two of the following technical domains: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Experience working with engineering or technology teams for large customers or significant segments in the Public Sector, Enterprise, or Startup industries.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken French.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a technical lead, either in internal enterprise or external customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to an audience that includes decision makers.
  • Experience in operational services or support environments (this is not a 24/7 on-call operations role).
  • Experience engaging with management stakeholders on technical, operational, or business strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings.
