Join Our Engineering Team as EI&C Team Lead (m/f/d)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to enhance our Engineering team as an EI&C Team Lead. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your technical expertise, collaborative spirit, and passion for innovation to ensure the reliability, optimization, and continuous development of our electrical, measurement, and control systems within a GMP-regulated biopharmaceutical production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the assigned EI&C maintenance teams, ensuring effective technical and personnel management.
- Oversee daily response times and ensure adherence to operational needs.
- Manage economical, technical, and timely execution and qualification of EMR work for maintenance, servicing, conversions, and fixed-term contracts.
- Share responsibility for operational management, safety, availability, optimization, quality, budgeting, and reporting of assigned systems.
- Ensure compliance with technical guidelines and legal requirements (e.g., GMP, ATEX, SVTI, Machinery Directive, internal SOPs).
- Prepare, present, and defend EI&C requests during inspections and audits while protecting the interests of Lonza AG.
Key Requirements
- A degree in Electrical or System Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience, including vocational education (EFZ, FH, HF, BSc).
- Proficient understanding of Emerson DeltaV, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and experience in GMP-regulated environments within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
- A strong team orientation combined with a structured and proactive working attitude.
- Ability to embrace new ideas and suggestions.
- Well-organized, focused, and driven by motivation and dynamism.
