Position: Team Lead GT Control System Engineering & Execution
We invite you to strengthen our team in Switzerland (Baden) with your expertise and experience. In this role, your main responsibility will be to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our gas turbine products. You will lead the engineering team responsible for developing and executing the control system for heavy-duty gas turbines.
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as the line manager and technical lead of the GT control system engineering and execution team.
- Develop and engineer the GT control system hardware.
- Specify GT monitoring systems and field instruments, and design I&C field loops.
- Integrate and document GT protection requirements and safety instrumented systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Configure and execute the GT control system scope within the framework of customer projects according to contractual requirements.
- Interface and coordinate with project management.
- Support erection and commissioning activities from the back office and on customer sites.
- Define and optimize technical guidelines and engineering and execution processes.
Your Profile
- Advanced degree in electrical/automation engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of professional experience in design and project execution of automation systems in the field of power or process plant engineering.
- Familiarity with design directives and codes and standards in automation, instrumentation, controls, and functional safety.
- Strong commitment to delivering solutions and results aligned with quality, time, and cost targets.
- 2+ years of experience in a line management role with proven leadership and mentoring skills.
- Very good command of English; proficiency in German and knowledge of Italian are advantageous.
