Main Duties
- Teach across a diverse age and ability range, customizing lessons to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Contribute to the broader school community by participating in sporting events, extracurricular activities, and various enrichment programs.
- Collaborate within our Creative Arts & Design Department.
- Engage actively in the boarding life of the school.
- Continuously develop personal professional practice and pursue opportunities for growth.
- Mentor a small group of learners, monitoring their achievements and well-being.
- Manage departmental resources effectively, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized working environment at all times.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the safeguarding of all young people.
- Handle subject-related administration as required and participate in departmental meetings.
- Adhere to the school’s assessment and reporting processes and attend parents’ meetings as needed.
Person Specification
- A good honours degree and/or a further degree in a related subject.
- A commitment to the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- A passion for your subject, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
- A willingness to embrace developments and innovations in teaching and learning, and to experiment with new practices.
- Ability to supervise students completing the MYP Personal Project or the DP Extended Essay.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with English as your first language.

- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and collaborating effectively with colleagues and school leadership.
