The Role

We are seeking an outstanding Teacher of English to join our Secondary team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach English in a school that values intellectual challenge, precision of thought, and excellence in communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English across the IB Middle Years Programme.
• Teach IB Diploma English, depending on experience.
• Deliver rigorous, well-structured lessons aligned with IB philosophy and assessment.
• Develop students’ analytical writing, reading comprehension, and oracy skills.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment design, and moderation.
• Support literacy development across the school.
• Engage fully in pastoral life and the wider co-curricular programme.

We are looking for a teacher who possesses strong subject knowledge, clarity of instruction, and high expectations.

The Candidate

• Has experience teaching English within the IB MYP and ideally the IBDP.
• Understands IB assessment criteria and curriculum design.

IB experience and experience in international schools are advantageous.
