With the launch of our new Les 3 Cimes campus, we are expanding our curriculum to include Digital and Product Design. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to shape a brand-new subject area and help us create a design space that reflects the innovation and creativity of our students.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Teacher of Design to lead the introduction of Digital and Product Design at VIS. The successful candidate will guide us in establishing a fully equipped design studio, develop engaging learning experiences for students aged 11–16 (within the IB MYP framework), and contribute to the broader creative life of the school.

You will:

• Lead the launch of Digital and Product Design at VIS, building a new programme from the ground up.
• Advise on and help furnish a purpose-built design room, including tools, equipment, and layout.
• Inspire students through hands-on design, technology, and problem-solving projects.
• Collaborate across disciplines to develop creative, sustainable, and practical learning experiences.
• Play an active role in our wider school life, including clubs, trips, and community initiatives.

Profile

You are an enthusiastic, forward-thinking teacher who combines creativity with technical expertise. You bring a balance of design vision, practical skill, and collaborative energy. We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a degree in Design, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• Has experience teaching design or technology, ideally in an international or inquiry-based context (MYP experience is an advantage).
• Is confident with digital tools such as CAD/CAM, 3D printing, and design software.
• Enjoys working with young people and building their curiosity, resilience, and craftsmanship.
• Is flexible, well-organised, and excited by the opportunity to build something new.
