We are seeking a passionate Teacher of Mathematics to join our vibrant community at an esteemed all-through 4-18 international boarding school nestled in the picturesque Swiss Alps. Main Duties
- Teach across a diverse age and ability range, tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Engage in wider school life through participation in sporting events, extracurricular activities (ECAs), and other enrichment programs.
- Contribute to our Boarding Department to enhance students' residential experience.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and refining your teaching practice.
- Mentor a small group of learners while monitoring their achievements and well-being.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding all young people.
- Assist with subject-related administrative tasks and actively participate in departmental meetings.
- Adhere to the school’s assessment and reporting processes and attend parents’ meetings as required.
Person Specification
- A good honors degree and/or a further degree in a directly related subject.
- A commitment to the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- A passion for mathematics with the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Willingness to explore innovative teaching methods and adapt to new practices.
- Ability to supervise learners undertaking the MYP Personal Project or the DP Extended Essay.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration with colleagues and school leadership.
- Proficient in ICT, with a readiness to embrace new technologies.
