Teacher of Art / Teacheress of Art

Collège Alpin Beau-Soleil SA - February 7, 2026

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Beau Soleil, we believe that actions speak louder than words. This philosophy governs how we interact as staff and with our students. Our community champions the power of action, engagement, and participation, both inside and outside the classroom.

We offer a unique holistic education that centers around four core values: Respect, Responsibility, Ambition, and Determination. These values create a framework for community life among our diverse international student body, which includes students from over fifty different countries, each with unique academic backgrounds and aspirations for the future.

Our curricular programs are available in both English and French, allowing students to graduate with an IB or Advanced Studies Diploma. With small class sizes, we provide a flexible learning environment where our dedicated staff is encouraged and supported to introduce innovative ideas in their teaching.

OUR COMMUNITY

Located in the heart of Villars-sur-Ollon, Beau Soleil boasts an enviable lifestyle that includes winter skiing and a variety of outdoor activities year-round. The cultural offerings in Montreux, Lausanne, and Geneva are easily accessible, providing inspiration for our students and staff alike.

The Beau Soleil campus features state-of-the-art facilities, creating an inspiring workplace. Our ongoing campus development and maintenance program ensures that both our students and staff thrive in an environment of which they can be justifiably proud.

YOUR PROFILE

At Beau Soleil, art transcends mere subject matter; it serves as a powerful medium for expression, exploration, and discovery. Our students are encouraged to master techniques while pushing the boundaries of their creativity, fostering confidence, originality, and a deep appreciation for the arts. Our dynamic program invites students to experiment, take risks, and bring their unique visions to life.

As a Teacher of Art, you will join a vibrant and creative community that fosters artistic talent and personal growth. You will thrive in a diverse setting, bringing lessons to life with your infectious passion for creativity. Whether you're introducing foundational skills in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) or guiding students through independent artistic inquiry at the IB Diploma (IBDP) level, your role will be pivotal in inspiring young artists to explore, innovate, and develop their own creative voices.

This opportunity is ideal for a forward-thinking, enthusiastic educator who embraces collaboration and inspiring young minds. You set high expectations, share ideas passionately, and adopt innovative approaches to engage students in artistic exploration. A qualified teacher with IBDP experience, you are adept at integrating technology, leading interdisciplinary projects, and cultivating a culture of creativity.

At Beau Soleil, learning extends far beyond the studio. From gallery visits and artist workshops to large-scale creative projects and outdoor adventures like summiting 4,000m peaks, we offer students an education as bold and exciting as the art they create. Join us in empowering the next generation of artists to leave their mark on the world.
