Your Impact

  • Become a key member of our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, focusing on M&A and restructuring.
  • Proactively deliver tax expertise to a diverse client portfolio, primarily composed of private equity and real estate clients, providing advice on international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-country M&A and restructuring projects that include tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, supported by a team of associates and senior associates.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance the financial services, private equity, and real estate practice, strengthening client relationships, expanding the client base, and diversifying service offerings.

Your Skill Set

  • A master’s degree or an above-average bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or law. A focus on tax/international tax, as well as an LLM in international tax, would be advantageous.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international environment. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of senior associates and associates on complex tax projects.
  • Flexible, persistent, and open to challenging situations, with a team-oriented and customer-focused mindset, coupled with excellent communication skills.
  • A strong aptitude for numbers, models, and evaluations, as well as an understanding of the underlying legal issues at the intersection of economics and law.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is a plus.
