Your Impact
- Become a key member of our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, focusing specifically on M&A and restructuring.
- Proactively provide tax expertise to a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily in private equity and real estate, advising on international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
- Lead and coordinate multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, which include tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA reviews, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, while leveraging the support of associates and senior associates.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and enhance the financial services, private equity, and real estate practice, strengthening client relationships, expanding the client base, and diversifying the service offerings.
Your Skill Set
- A master's degree or an above-average bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a focus on tax or international tax. An LLM in international tax is a valuable asset.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international context. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of senior associates and associates on complex tax projects.
- Demonstrated flexibility, persistence, and openness to challenging situations with a team-oriented and customer-focused personality, along with excellent communication skills.
- A strong aptitude for numbers, models, evaluations, and the underlying legal issues, positioned at the intersection of economics and law.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is a plus.
